Executive - Procurement & Vendor Development (3-5 yrs)
Job Description Procurement & VD (Level E4)
- Identification of all requirements in requisition for purchase issued by Design Department
- Reiterate with designers and suppliers for finalization of quantity and quality
- Establish delivery terms, time and stages of inspection for the supply with Project Management Team
- Ensure that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements
- Negotiate the best payment terms and contract conditions, maintaining high level of integrity.
- Issuance of Purchase order & tracking and expediting of the shipments
- Client acceptance/rejection, warranties and other related follow up matters supplier with the till completion of Project
- Keep update with market developments and assist in vendor development
- Report on budget versus actual performance on project wise basis
- Research potential suppliers, compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Prepare reports on purchases including cost analysis
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Requirement:
- An engineering graduate is preferred
- Min experience of 3-5 yrs. in any bicycle industry
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liasioning with vendors)
- Good negotiating skills
- Knowledge of SAP is must
- Budget upto 4 L CTC
