Facilities surveillance engineering positions will be required to support the facilities surveillance TSC workflows. The workflow activities will include the following tasks:

- develop comprehensive understanding of upstream process systems

- collaboration with multi-discipline teams to build surveillance plans and review findings

- performing real-time process surveillance monitoring, optimization, and reporting

- frequent interactions with asset staff (engineering, operations, maintenance) including participating in meetings

- data analysis and troubleshooting to identify anomalies or opportunities generated by monitoring activities and prioritize based on operational risk and/or opportunity

- downtime and facility mass balance assessments

- constraint identification and monitoring

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in chemical engineering with minimum GPA 7.0 and above

- Must have relevant work experience as an operations support engineer in the petrochemical or oil/gas industry. Preference is for oil and gas operations support experience over design experience.

1. Lead Engineer / Advisor - minimum of 7-10 years work experience supporting petrochemical or oil/gas operations

2. Junior Engineer- minimum of 3 years work experience supporting petrochemical or oil/gas operations

- Strong analytical skills to identify facility key performance parameters and evaluate production system processes through design information and data and trend analysis

- Prior work experience in following will be a strong advantage:

1. Process engineering background with first hand operations support experience

2. Troubleshooting and performance monitoring / optimization for an operating site at oil and gas, refining, or petrochemical site

1. Experience in performing facility surveillance and process performance analysis

2. Experience with process simulation (Aspen, Hysys)

- Knowledge of upstream processing facilities systems is ideal

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
