Facility Engineer/Officer - Civil Engineering (5-10 yrs)
Site development activities :
- Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards and other factors in planning stages and risk analysis
- Test building materials, such as concrete, asphalt, or steel, for use in particular projects
- Provide cost estimates for materials, equipment or labour to determine a project's economic feasibility
- Use design software to plan and design transportation systems, hydraulic systems and structures in line with industry and government standards
- Perform or oversee, surveying operations to establish reference points, grades and elevations to guide construction
- Present findings to the management on topics such as environmental impact statements or property descriptions.
- Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project parameters.
- Existing site development /Maintenance activities
- Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of present infrastructure and their development.
- Ensures, excavation, building, construction, groundwork's including drainage, car parks, walkways, barriers and handrails are in smooth shape if not then corrective measures need to be taken.
- Ensure present Carpentry, including decking, guttering, roofing, glazing, floor coverings (catering and office), painting and decorating, lifting and shifting, door furniture and hanging are properly maintained if not preventive measure need to be taken.
- Maintain present office infrastructure and pantry refits with all the associated works required.
- Ongoing plant maintenance support, improvement and correctness on timely basis.
Other Activities :
- Maintain and update as needed SOP's for all safe work practices and equipment and utilize them in the day to day training.
- Ensure inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies minimized and corrected.
- Responsible for assisting in the identification of possible losses; evaluating the risk in such loss exposure; developing and implementing a plan to correct or prevent a loss and audit the plan to ensure its effectiveness.
