Factory Manager - Furniture Manufacturing (13-18 yrs)

Location: Muscat, Oman
Reporting: GM Operation
About Company:
A leading furniture manufacturing company with many retail stores & showrooms across the country in Oman.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Diploma Mechanical / BE Mechanical + MBA Marketing
- Total Job experience has to be between 13 to 18 Yrs
- Should be an expert in managing all the processes of Upholstery production in the factory
- Knowledge of Machinery & AutoCAD Drawings, mandatory
- Must have fair marketing experience in finished goods
- Must have strong experience in managing a production team of 30 people
- Must have a good understanding of reading the drawings & designing as well
- Must have strong experience in production in a Furniture manufacturing unit
Duties & Responsibilities Preferred :
- Run the remanufacturing units across locations as a well-planned Production line unit
- Create a production plan in alignment with the company's requirements and implement it across locations
- Estimation & planning of resources along with city production managers (workforce, raw materials, consumables, etc.)
- Schedule production to meet deadlines. Keep wastage and costs under strict control.
- Monitor overall unit performance for production, quality and safety standards.
- Ensure the production output meets predefined quality standards
- Ensure machinery & tools are fully operational & well-maintained within the facility
- Estimating, negotiating & agreeing on budgets to ensure production output internally with other stakeholders
- Supervising & managing the work of subordinates
- Organising training sessions for the team members
- Managing timelines and work priorities and allocating resources to meet the assigned factory timelines and goals
- Establish the company brand as the leader and best-in-class manufacturing company.
- Assist in the promotion and advertising campaigns of the company, issuing quality and attractive company brochures, updating the company profile,.. etc
- To effectively market the Company, products, and services
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Minimum total experience 10+ years overall, 5+ in wood and Upholstery furniture factory operations and manufacturing processes involved.
- Technical expertise in wood, upholstered furniture & their involved machinery a must.
- Additional knowledge about paint, fabrics, leather, finishing, and furniture design drawings are advantageous
- Leadership ability to get things done while handling a team of workmen / multiple departments/labor staff.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Sound financial and commercial knowledge
- Excellent Sales Techniques
- Self- motivated
- Good communicator and negotiator
- Strong Leadership skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
