FEA Engineer Job Description

Company: Alcom Extrusions Pvt Ltd

Role: FEA Engineer

Experience:2 to 3 Yrs.

Industry: Aerospace/Automotive/Heavy Industry

Location: Hitech City

Responsibilities:

1.Perform advanced FEA analyses across a diverse range of applications and products in close collaboration with stakeholders.

2.Identify, produce, and oversee the production of appropriate analyses and calculations to demonstrate acceptable performance or highlight design issues.

3.Take charge of modeling and analyzing components or systems to expedite development processes.

4.Analyze engineering problems by selecting the most efficient and accurate solution strategies, and provide necessary hand calculations to substantiate processes and findings.

5.Execute complex-level FEA simulations including Linear/Non-linear, Modal, Transient, and frequency response analyses.

6.Identify potential areas for improvement in the FEA process.

7.Interpret international standards guidelines such as ISO, EN, API, ANSI for simulation requirements.

8.Assist the team in meeting project deadlines while delivering desired quality, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1.BTech/MTech in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, or Automobile.

2.Proficiency in Ansys, Hypermesh, Catia V5/Siemens NX.

3.Expertise in FEA grid generation and meshing techniques.

4.Strong interpersonal skills and fluency in both written and verbal English.

5.Understanding of FEA Theory, Solid Mechanics, Machine Design, and Fatigue.

6.Familiarity with Finite Element Modeling and adequate pre-processing techniques for collecting required inputs.

7.Knowledge of FEA solver limitations and simplifications to replicate physical workings into virtual scenarios.
