We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fibre Laser Cutting Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining fibre laser cutting machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts with precision and efficiency. This role requires a technical qualification (ITI or Diploma) and 3-5 years of hands-on experience in fibre laser cutting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Machine Operation: Operate fibre laser cutting machines to produce metal parts according to specifications and production schedules.

- Setup and Calibration: Perform machine setup, calibration, and adjustment to ensure accurate and efficient cutting.

- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.

- Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on laser cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with the laser cutting machine, including programming errors and mechanical malfunctions.

- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, maintenance activities, and quality inspections.

Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to optimize cutting processes and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications

Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience operating fibre laser cutting machines in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in operating and programming fibre laser cutting machines.

- Strong understanding of laser cutting principles, techniques, and materials.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

- Knowledge of CNC programming and CAD/CAM software is a plus.

- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve technical issues efficiently.
