Marmon is a major supplier of water purification products and system solutions worldwide. We are creating a new team to develop advanced solutions in control electronics, sensors, monitoring and analysis. This group will be entrepreneurial driven, fast paced and advanced technology focused.
The Electronics Engineer is a top of his profession self-starter, capable of developing sensor and control electronics, and IoT communication systems within a team of high-achievement researchers and developers. He will be familiar with instrumentation, signal processing, control electronics and telecommunications. The right candidate will also have experience in startup development projects and/or startup companies where he will have excelled in developing unique system solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, develop and debug, in collaboration with a sister development team in the USA, new products used in industrial and consumer water purification markets.
- Think out-of-the-box in developing unique, patentable designs of the future.
- Work with marketing to develop and write specifications.
- Systematically improve the detailed design of a piece of electronic equipment.
- Ensure that a product will work with devices developed by others, can be made again reliably, and will perform consistently in specified operating environments.
- Create user-friendly interfaces.
- Ensure safety regulations are met.
- Carry out project planning and prepare budgets.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of accomplishments with a minimum ten (10+) years of experience in technology development encompassing electromechanical equipment, sensors, IoT and related Apps.
- Proven creativity, innovation and attention to detail.
- Minimum of an EE in Electrical Engineering with a Masters preferable.
- Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with other engineers.
- Strategic thinking and commercial awareness of the industry.
- Must be capable of problem solving without being told what to do.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Familiarity with all of the current electronics development trends and devices
