Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 6- 10 years of experience in general administration, canteen, transport, or food safety management.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (FSSAI, HACCP, or equivalent).
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, corporate offices, or large facilities management.
- Certification in food safety or transport management.
- Knowledge of local transport and food regulations.
Job Description
Canteen Management:
- Supervise daily operations of the company's canteen, ensuring smooth food service.
- Coordinate with caterers and food vendors to ensure quality, variety, and timely service.
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and procurement of canteen supplies.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and food safety standards as per regulatory guidelines.
- Handle employee feedback regarding food quality and make necessary improvements.
Maintain records of expenses and ensure budget compliance.
Transport Management :
- Manage company transport services for employees, ensuring safe and timely commutes.
- Oversee vehicle scheduling, route planning, and fuel consumption for efficiency.
- Coordinate with transport service providers for vehicle maintenance and compliance.
- Handle transport-related grievances and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government transportation regulations.
Food Safety & Compliance :
- Ensure that all food service operations comply with local health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain hygiene and food safety standards.
- Train canteen staff on food safety protocols and best practices.
- Implement corrective actions based on audit findings and employee feedback.
- Maintain documentation related to food safety audits and compliance reports.
General Administration & Reporting :
- Prepare reports on canteen operations, food quality, transport efficiency, and costs.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Liaise with HR and other departments for employee welfare-related requirements.
- Ensure timely renewal of contracts with vendors and service providers.
- Manage grievances related to canteen and transport services.
