As a Fulfillment Manager, You will be responsible for optimizing operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing a seamless customer experience.
What you will do :
- Overseeing end-to-end order fulfillment processes, from order receipt to shipping and delivery
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders
- Coordinating with shipping carriers to optimize shipping routes and reduce transit times
- Negotiating and managing contracts with logistics partners to achieve cost-effective shipping solutions
- Monitoring inventory levels and collaborate with the inventory team to prevent stock outs and overstock situations
- Implementing efficient systems for inventory tracking and management
- Developing and implementing effective returns processes to enhance customer satisfaction
- Analyzing returns data to identify trends and implement improvements
- Implementing quality control measures to ensure accurate and defect-free order fulfillment
- Addressing any issues related to product quality or fulfillment accuracy
- Leading and mentoring a team responsible for order fulfillment and logistics
- Providing training to ensure team members are well-versed in fulfillment processes
- Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for fulfillment operations
- Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency
What you need to have :
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field
- Proven experience in ecommerce fulfillment, shipping, and logistics management
- Strong understanding of order processing, inventory management, and returns processes
- Familiarity with shipping carriers, freight management, and fulfillment technologies
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
