GE - Engineer Maintenance Professional (5-10 yrs)
This job is for one of the Product based organizations and we are into Energy Sector.
Install, maintain, and repair internal factory equipment. Supervise employees who perform maintenance and tool making. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.
Job Description :
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Ensure that equipment and tools are in good condition for use. Propose plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action.
- Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
- Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
- Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and company. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
- Role may change as per business needs over time.
- Hands on experience of PLC SCADA and drives
Required Qualifications :
- This role requires basic experience in the Manufacturing & Equipment Maintenance. Candidate from Automation Industry background is preferable. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- Flexibility to work in shift based environment.
