Role Summary/Purpose :

- This position will provide leadership to all MMF, Pune program transfers from business case creation to ope-rationalizing manufacturing, in the new MMF facility. To be responsible for meeting financial targets for output from India plant used for both In-country & for world markets.

- This role will work closely with stakeholders in business, supply chain, manufacturing, Sourcing & finance teams to ensure execution in terms of ROI, liquidation, plant utilization w.r.t. investments.

Essential Responsibilities :

- Leadership, planning and execution of the manufacturing/sourcing plans, with special focus on Thermal, Aviation and Distributed Power products for India/export using India facility.

- Project management for the implementation of projects into GE facilities working with Manufacturing, Sourcing & related teams.

- Build business case, execution strategy & manage till ramp-up.

- This role & program teams works closely with Manufacturing site/operating teams & Sourcing team to ensure timely execution

- Ensure readiness of the Supply Chain for total delivery of product lines out of India.

- Coordinate with P&L/business Development & related stakeholders on all partnership/JV opportunities to support these projects.

- Act as a SCM focal point for commercial, engineering, P&L & global stake holder teams during planning & program execution of new growth projects.

- Facilitate seamless hand-off of new projects introduced to the operational teams for regular production.

Qualifications/Requirements :

- B.Tech./MBA /M Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent Degree

- Minimum 16 to 20 years in Manufacturing/Supply chain/sourcing with strong program/project management skill set would be required

- Deep domain knowledge in Gas/ Steam turbines, Gas/ Diesel Distributed Power and associated accessories including Balance of Plant Equipment.

- Hand on experience in supplier capability & capacity assessment, supplier development, component qualification and manufacturing technologies will be highly desirable.

- Should have sound knowledge in castings, forgings, engineered system commodities and special processes including machining, welding, coating and various NDT Techniques

- Should have very good understanding of Supplier Base and ability to manage larger relationship

- Multi-business/multi-product domain for GE Products - added advantage & would be preferred.

- Large project management experience

- Black Belt and/or Green Belt certification desirable for internal candidates.
