Role Summary/Purpose : Engineer - Boiler product - Structural Engineering for boiler, Clean Combustion (CC), Noida will be part of a team of civil and structural engineers responsible for execution of boiler structural design, buckstay engineering for Boiler and low-Nox services projects.

Qualifications/Requirements :

- Bachelors in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with excellent academic track record

- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in Basic & Detailed Engineering

- Knowledge of Indian & International (AISC, Euro, DIN, JIS, GB etc.) Standards related to Structural & thermal Engineering

- Hands on and working knowledge of structural engineering & finite element analysis software viz. Staad,Pro, Ansys, SAP2000,

- Exposure with 2D & 3D detailing software viz. AutoCad, Tekla, PDMS

- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to interface effectively with global counterparts

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Characteristics :

- Master's degree in Structural/Thermal/power Engineering from an accredited university or college

- Proven experience of working in multi-functional engineering teams focused for power, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or similar type project execution efforts.

- Knowledge & working experience on super critical Boilers

- Working knowledge of software programming/tool development using latest programing languages.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to balance multiple priorities

Essential Responsibilities :

- Preparation of structural engineering calculations comprising of analysis and design of boiler buckstay components or analysis and design of related steel technological structures following contractual requirements.

- Studying the contractual design requirement, scope of work for structural engineering & reference drawings (if available)

- Review the 3D model and basic and detail engineering drawings of equipment, structures and ensure all contractual requirements are met

- Participate in design review and peer review sessions and ensure that calculations and reports prepared are properly checked and reviewed before internal or external release

- Ensure that lessons learned from previous projects & tenders are known and utilized within the teams.

- Ensure that key performance indicators like On Time Delivery, Right First Time, Direct Material Productivity are met

- Follow-up and checking interface data with client, other disciplines, equipment suppliers, clash checks using 3D model etc.

- Provide technical support during fabrication, inspection & erection stage

- Support sourcing team in clarifying vendor requirements related to structural documents & drawings.

- Support Project Management team in technical discussions with customer and /or engineering consultants.

- Ensure continuous process and quality improvement by working on standardization projects and cost out ideas

- Implement global standards and common processes to assure consistent quality is delivered.
