An MNC is hiring HVAC Subject Matter experts with experience with Data Center Service Providers / HVAC Consulting / Experience with Cooling OEM in application engineering/service (Chillers / PACs) background for a Data Center company in Mumbai

Main Responsibilities :

This SME is required to support the design & execution team & is someone whose work will cover the following areas

- Drive thought leadership with regard to new technology adoption

- Responsible for evaluation and implementation of newer technology and bringing in innovation

- Energy modeling and PUE optimization

- Support / Hand Hold - Operations Team- in driving Health & Hygiene projects

- Technical Support on Renewable Energy projects

- Cross-functional Technical Skill Development; Conduct Training

- Support Preparation of SOP/MOP/EOP in accordance with systems/equipment requirements.

- Product and technology-wise TCO evaluation

- Rating of partner's production facility and conducting factory acceptance tests.

- Equipment level cost optimization activity.

Job description:

Skills/ Experience

- Masters / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Min. 18 years experience With Service Data Center Service Provider / HVAC Consulting / Experience with Cooling OEM in application engineering/service (Chillers / PACs)

- In-depth knowledge of critical HVAC Equipment as Chillers, Cooling towers, CRAH (Computer Air Handling Units) & Chilled water management system.

- Knowledge and experience to conduct energy modeling / PUE modeling

- Strong Leadership and Organizational skills; Very Strong people management skills.

- Excellent communication

- Understanding of ISO 14001, ISO 20000 & ISO 27001 Standards and processes.

- In-depth understanding of ASHRAE guidelines

- Thorough knowledge of heating, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.

- Considerable knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment

- Ability to prioritize, plan, assign, coordinate and direct the work of the HVAC team, train & supervise others

- Skills to diagnose HVAC problems; and to understand and work from layout, schematics, and drawings; diagnose equipment malfunctions & prescribe repair procedures

- Incumbent must be able to work well as a team member; must be self-driven, reliable, and responsible

- Ability to review and critique plans and specifications for HVAC and environmental control systems
