General Manager - Manufacturing Operations - Capital Equipment/Machinery (20-25 yrs)
General Manager Operations
- Experience in manufacturing operations preferably in capital equipment/machinery. Bigger team manager (manager and manager of manager experience) for at least 5-8 years. Experience in surface treatment processes like plating & painting will be preferred.
- Heads Operations and the entire range of departments within operations (automation and control, procurement, planning, etc.) for the plant. This role focuses on leading teams and aligning manufacturing activities with wider company objectives.
Responsible for :
Operations Management. :
1. Day-to-day production operations of the plant
2. Procurement, store management, safety standards, inventory management, etc. within the plant
3. OTDIF (on-time delivery in full), FTR (first time right) and DOH (days on hand inventory) matrices are achieved.
4. continuous improvement environment.
- Team Management / People development.
- The scope of Decision Making.
Educational Qualification & Experience :
- BE/BTech - Mechanical, with preferably an MBA degree
Expert understanding of the following :
- Modern management techniques such as 5S, Lean Kaizen, TPM, TQM etc.
- Six Sigma Black belt holder would be an added advantage
- Experience in & customized equipment would be preferred.
- Should have experience in batch manufacturing.
- Understanding of electro-mechanical machines is a must.
