General Manager - Plant Maintenance Engineering - Chemical Processing Plant (15-20 yrs)
Age: Between 38 to 45 years.
Qualification: B.E (Mechanical)
Experience: 15 to 20 Years in Chemical Processing Plant, having experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Civil.
Preferred Industry: Power plants, Fertilizer plants, Bulk chemical plants.
Reporting to: President (Operations)
Job Description :
1. Maintenance of plant and machinery including their utilities eg. DG, Compressors, Pumps, Water System, ETP/STP Operation & maintenance, other material handling equipment, AC plant etc.
2. Maintenance of Electrical distribution, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and power backup system including Sub-stations, Panels, Cables, Illumination etc.
3. Maintenance of PLC, VFD, Sensors, Hydraulic and Pneumatic controls.
4. Handling all project works including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation.
5. Administration of site work and handling Engineers, Technicians and workers.
6. Well versed with system & process execution like TS 16949, ISO 9000/14000, ISO-14001, Employee Health and Safety (EHS), OHSAS, TQM, TPM, SQC, 5S, Kaizen,
7. Managing overall maintenance of the plant related to Mechanical or Electrical.
8. Management of Annual Shutdown of plant and Machineries
9. Management of on roll as well as contractual maintenance work force i.e. fitters, riggers, turners, welders, electrician, technicians in shifts and
10. Vendor Management, AMC etc..

Note: Individual should have handled maintenance of multiple locations. He will be overall plant maintenance in charge, including other disciplines like Electrical / Instrumentation etc
