Role & Responsibilities:

- Direct and coordinate activities of all departments. Manage staff, prepare/ plan work schedules and assign duties.

- Communicate all required information to senior management, HOD & supervisors.

- Lead and guide employees to achieve targets and encourage growth.

- Manage overall plant operations, viz. manufacturing, engineering, quality, HR, safety, logistics, finance functions.

- Coordinate with various functions, ensure optimum utilization of the resources and implement departmental policies and procedures.

- Establish goals, objectives, and procedures, consulting with senior management and staff members as necessary.

- Lead plant to achieve the production target as per plan, formulate and implement strategies to achieve annual business targets.

- Review reports, and performance data to measure productivity, goal achievement and determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvements.

- Prepare annual budgets, lead CAPEX projects, analyse equipment performance, maintenance and cost control.

- Manage all audits, customer, vendor visits at the facility & conduct factory audits to identify bottlenecks/ non-compliances and implement corrective actions.

- Oversee Industrial Relations, contract labour, recruitment, selection and training process of new employees.

- Responsible for all compliances and norms as per state regulations, factory act, FSSAI, licensing, taxation and liasoning with government departments, etc.

- Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities.

- Manage physical inventory process and manage stocks at all locations.

Desired Candidate Profile -

- MBA with engineering background (industrial, mechanical, electrical)

- 12- 15 years of experience in manufacturing & operations of which at least 5-7 years Heading the manufacturing unit in FMCG sector

- Strong expertise with all aspects of plant management

- Comfortable working in a dynamic challenging environment and contributes to process improvement and excellence.

- Provide leadership and contribute to best practices for the successful day-to-day operation of the facility.
