Hiring for general manager position for a leading Steel manufacturers and Exporters with 10-15 years of Experience at Taloja,Navi Mumbai.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for achieving Production target of Wire Plant, Bright Bar and Wire Plant

2. Be responsible for ensuring quality parameters are maintained for all production

3. Identifying new opportunities/ machines/ products for Stainless Steel

4. Being a major driver in cost optimization drive for the company.

5. Be responsible for implementing Oddo across organization

Task Analysis :

1. To work closely with Plan supervisor/head for achieving daily targets

2. Closely monitoring quality of Production and improving on product rejection

3. Review team performance on daily/ weekly basis and coaching them to work effectively

4. Developing shop floor planning and workstations to ensure better productivity

5. Working towards Just in Time

6. Taking quick decision for inventory and rejection

7. Ensuring timely dispatch and documentation

8. Ensuring all process is done through Oddu system and Analysing reports

9. Be responsible for Admin Activities

10. Hiring team as per the needs and developing them to fulfil their roles

Context of the Job

1. Managing 3 Plants - The key role of General Manager is to drive Wire Plant, Bright Bar and Rolling mill.

2. Managing Admin Activities - To manage all admin related activities of 3 Plants.
