General Manager - Production - Modular Furniture (10-15 yrs)
- Prepare production schedules as per business demand.
- Analyze and plan the production team, required equipments and materials to produce different products within the schedule.
- Responsible for maintaining and improving the productivity with extensive quality and cost reduction.
- Mentor and coordinate with production staff members.
- Oversee production, delivery, pricing & design
- Follow and implement new company policies and procedures
- Prepare budget and production forecasts with MD
- Implement programs that include production, project management, estimation, purchasing, design, HR, HSE, employees training etc.
- Review all operational reports
- Involved in approving recruitment, wage, bonus and Purchase orders in line with budget and operating constraints
- Approve, within budgetary and corporate guidelines, expenditures for capital equipment
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the facility, overseeing that work is accomplished by the managers and supervisors, and that it is consistent with corporate policies and objectives.
- Responsible for purchasing, control inventory and raw material handling.
- Prepare procedure manuals and technical documents.
- Ensure the orders completed in the scheduled time and delivered to the vendors.
- Setting up measurement systems for output and efficiency.
- Advising on design and materials used on major office systems projects.
- Utilising wood, veneers & board materials and textiles. Large scale intuitional furniture's and housing furniture fit-out projects.
