Designation General Manager Projects (Location - Vishakhapatnam)

Job Description - Site based position.

- The candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the construction of a large multi-storied residential cum retail construction project.

This will require:

- Close coordination with the project team including internal team, accounts & finance team and management.

- Managing and coordinating the deliverables of other consultants (Project Management Consultants, Architect/s, MEP consultants, Landscape consultant, peer review consultants) and the various vendors / contractors involved in the project.

- Manage overall timelines, budgets, reporting, cost, EHS, contracts etc.

- One of the most important responsibilities of this candidate will be to ensure quality delivery of the project within the specified criteria of time, cost and quality.

- Candidate will be required to adopt and implement the highest possible service delivery standards practiced in a safe manner on an ongoing basis.

- Lead the project team at site for the construction work and report to the Director.

- Prepare micro scheduling of various activities to be undertaken at site, coordinate with allied responsibilities of various work agencies deployed on the project, undertake and be responsible for day to day planning and supervision of construction at site.

Desired Profile - Very good at communications / reporting / documentation.

- Experience of complete life cycle of multi-storied residential projects from design stage upto post completion de-snagging and hand over.

- Experience of leading resolution of site coordination issues, consultants & contractors coordination.

- 15- 20 years of relevant work experience which should include 2-3 years in site leadership position.

- Should be a Graduate in Civil Engineering (exceptional diploma candidates with higher experience levels can also be considered). Post graduation in Construction Management preferable but not mandatory.
