General Manager - QS (8-15 yrs)
- Budgetary/preliminary estimates based on assumptions & thumb rules.
- Preparation of detailed cost estimates
- Prepare project budget and cost plans
- Track budget for each activity /trade
- Update project budget based on approved change orders/variations
- Preapre cost to completion reports
- Keep track of market rates of materials, laborers, plant & equipment, etc. to arrive at accurate item rates.
- Ensure the accurate quantity take-off at all stages of Design for budget preparation
- Preparation and/or review of specification and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) prior to tendering the works
- Analysis of bids (Commercial and Specification) submitted by contractors for various works
- Responsible for establishing Rate Analysis of all works of project
- Establishing cost codes for budget for effective tracking & allocate coding for sub activities.
- Collating, analyzing & interpreting data with major focus on achievement of targets & productivities and regularly keep posted the top management by ways of MIS
- Plan and Reconcile client issued material to all sites
- Evaluate BCWP,ACWP,ECWC & Variance
- Keep track of variation orders & extra items during execution stage and inform senior management through MIS.
Qualifications B.Tech Civil
Experience 12-20 Yrs
Knowledge - Relevant experience in construction of residential & commercial projects or similar industry with high quality standards.
- Should be a core professional in monitoring the projects with high degree of personal integrity and strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast paced, flexible, team based environment.
Functional Skills - Should have knowledge of cost escalation calculation mechanism based on indexes.
