Educational Qualification: BE / B Tech

Minimum 15 to 22 Years of work experience & below are the skill sets required.

Position: GM / Head Procurement

Location: Bangalore, Chennai

Managing the overall operations and enhancing the operational efficiency by eliminating obsolescence and achieving cost reduction through vendor development, curbing rework & rejection, materials management and inventory control

Streamlining department processes and procedures to determine optimum staffing levels; instituting metrics to document cost savings, purchase requisition turnaround, and number of Purchase Orders (POs) issued

Leading the strategic sourcing for planning and procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, indirect purchase and services in a timely and cost-effective way.

Steering strategic sourcing of various raw materials through identification of cost-effective vendors for procurement with an aim of reducing cost while improving quality & reliability.

Fully participate in the global purchasing cost reduction program. Take the lead at sub-region level to achieve raw material and traded goods cost savings.

Enhance supplier relationship; understand key economic cost drivers and government policy related to raw materials

Consistently evaluating vendor performance on various aspects viz., technology, quality,

responsiveness, delivery & cost.

Working closely with the technical & business team for capturing the opportunities to improve the bottom line
