The Transport Logistic Manager is accountable and responsible for :

- Components inbound to Indian plants: planning, shipment organization and delivery of components to 3 plants located in Inda, coordinating the activities with components suppliers (Domestic and Abroad ones), Ocean and Land carriers and freight forwarders, Custom brokers and plant logistics coordinate the shipment activities between the plants and the logistics providers to respect the agreed service level towards the customers.

- Outbound shipments: planning, shipment organization and delivery of finished goods from the 3 local plants to the Domestic and Export Market, including export of components to other plants.

- Finished goods compound management: to manage the near plants compounds of finished goods + 38 depos spread all over India, in terms of IN&OUT flows and product quality maintenance

- Contracting activities: to manage contracting and negotiation for all logistic services in India via RFQ process (transportation, custom clearance services, Compound, Whs activities, components packaging). Contract preparation and validation.

- Logistic Budget Forecasting-P&L Responsibility: to manage the Budget and Forecast preparation for Logistic freight for components inbound, Logistic freight for outbound transportation (domestic and export) and Finished goods Compounds. Project Savings and variances monthly tracking and causals.

- KPI management for all domestic carriers and quarterly QBR

- Business cases management

Job Requirements and qualifications :

- Relevant experience in logistics industry, minimum 5 years in a similar position

- Relevant experience in Sea Freight/Land shipment management (minimum 10 years)

- Relevant experience in Logistic Contracting Management (min 5 years)

- Deep knowledge of International Trade terms and Customs regulations

- Deep knowledge of automotive industry

- Analytical, precise and pursuing objectives with method and autonomously

- Strong leadership and team management

- Experienced in systems (data bases) and all MS office tools

- Experienced in front office solutions

- Able to work in a complex multinational matrix organization, dealing with stake holders across the world

- Pro-active performance and with passion for excellence and service commitment

- Flexible and able to work under pressure

- Willing to travel

- Fluent in English

- University degree (engineering or economics background)
