General Manager - Works - Ceramics/Sanitaryware (20-25 yrs)
A client of Meru requires a GM Works.
Location : Initially will be at Erode-Based on necessity he should travel anywhere of the units located.
The ideal candidate will manage the manufacturing operations of the company with multiple locations. The candidate will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the culture of the company.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the plant operations in an optimal manner on cost, quality and delivery
- Build a strong capability in processes
- Develop and nurture an innovative culture
- Keep the focus on quality
- Manage the team and motivate them
- Build a positive and productive culture in the workplace
Qualifications And Requirements :
- Engineer-Preferably Mechanical
- MBA Optional
- 20+ years' experience in continuous process industries
- Strong leadership, decision making and communication skills
- Tamil language skills required
Industry preference : Pulp and Paper industry or Asbestos cement sheet manufacturing industry or High pressure cement pipe manufacturing industry or paint industry, electrodes, Abrasives. refractories, sanitaryware, tiles, adhesives.
- Should have experience in handling Multi locational industrial units-preferable two or more units and in motivate and lead a team of people
