Glentec - Design Engineer - Civil & Structural Electrical Substation (4-8 yrs)
Experience : Required (Civil &Structural) Design Engineer should be having more than 5 years- experience in EHV Substations, Power Transmission Line Projects, Power Plant etc in the field of Design and Engineering
Roles :
1. The Design Engineer shall be capable of performing the analysis & design, drawings of structural & civil elements covering GIS substation / control room buildings, transformer foundations, outdoor equipment foundations, guard house, staff quarters, grading, roads and drainage, outdoor steel structures and miscellaneous works related to the substations and cabling works.
2. Engineer shall be able to review Vendor engineering documents with respect to Civil & Structural design.
3. The Engineer should be proficient in Steel structures, RCC structures & Geotech aspects. Knowledge of Site conditions, Topographic Conditions, environmental conditions for design calculations
4. Prepare cost effective design basis with respect to project specification & related codes.
5. Prepare master document list for civil activities.
6. Prepare Design basic reports Substation Earthing calculation
7. Perform civil design analysis and calculations according to project requirements /DBR.
8. Analysis of design issues and recommends corrective actions.
9. Determine construction cost and material estimates based on civil designs.
10. Design of RCC road section, Storm water Drainage, water sump &Culverts
9. Design of Tower Foundation of Lighting cum Lightening Mast
10. Grading Layout of Pooling Substation / Land Development drawing
11. Design of oil burnt tank /DG Set, Auxillary Transformer Foundation
14. Fabrication drawing for 33kV BPI-220KV//LASTRUCTURE
15. Design of Oil Sump, Boundary wall, Fencing wall, Main, wicket Design calculation
18. GA & RC of foundation for 150MVA power transformer & soak pit
19. 33KV Buscoupler isolator structure
20. MQP - Lattice Structure - 220/33kV Towers & Beams
