Looking for Global Indirect Procurement Specialist (6-10 yrs)

We are having an opportunity with a leading MNC:

Designation : Global Sourcing (Indirect Procurement) Manager Grade.

Location: Delhi / NCR

Reporting to : Global Procurement Head

YOE : 6 to 10 Years

BASIC FUNCTION :

- This individual will lead indirect procurement strategic sourcing and support procurement systems and policy compliance for the Organization India region. The successful candidate will reside in the Gurgaon head office and build and develop a team of procurement professionals and centralize indirect spend management in the region.

- This will include gaining appropriate levels of alignment and strategically sourcing spend categories while ensuring optimal utilization of Organization procurement systems and policies.

- The role will report directly to the Director, Global Corporate Procurement and play a key leadership role with the Corporate Procurement team globally and dotted line report to the Director, Supply Chain .

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Develop a comprehensive indirect procurement vision, strategy and implementation road map with the Director, Global Corporate Procurement, in alignment with key internal stakeholders for the region.

- Develop strong relationships with all key internal stakeholders and work with them to prioritize opportunities and challenges.

- Oversee strategic sourcing of the region's indirect spend categories, supplier relationships and related negotiations, business reviews and supplier assessments and selections, with the goal of obtaining optimized quality, cost, delivery and innovation.

- Ensure optimization of Organization procurement systems and compliance with the Organization Global Procurement Policy Manual

- Develop and implement metrics reporting for in scope responsibilities and related continuous improvement initiatives

- Constantly seek out improvement of purchasing processes and practices that eliminate non-value-added activity and incorporate relevant best practices.

- Lead and/or participate in Global Corporate Procurement continuous improvement Initiatives. Represent the region as a Global Corporate Procurement leader.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES :

- Formal and informal leadership, capable of leading the centralization of indirect spend in India and leading multi-facility strategies

- Excellent communicator, skilled at aligning stakeholders and rallying teams around a vision and strategy

- Skilled at continuous improvement in strategic sourcing, procurement process, policy and systems strategy

- Accomplished negotiator and able to construct and manage complex, sophisticated arrangements

- Team player within the region and within the global Corporate Procurement team

RELATIONSHIPS :

Reports directly to : The Director, Global Corporate Procurement and dotted line to the Director, Supply Chain.

Supervisory responsibilities : The role will lead 1-3 procurement professionals. Specifics are yet to be determined but will be influenced greatly by the successful candidate.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

- Must be assertive, persuasive, analytical, and an excellent communicator and leader of people with solid organization and prioritization skills.

- SAP experience is desirable.

- Must be highly computer literate with strong MS Excel skill
