GM/AVP - Program Management - Auto Electrical Domain (15-20 yrs)
Job Description :
Auto Electrical background is preferable
Mandates: At least 5 years of experience in program management
JD:
1. Establish and execute program timelines, milestones and program commitments made with the customer
2. Manage the RFQ kick off process once request/input sheet has been received from Key Account Managers. Follow up to ensure that NPD, ME team has all necessary information to respond to RFQ request received
3. Develop a detailed program plan, resource requirements and overall costs to launch the program with the program team provide critical project related inputs during final program approval
4. Work to develop collaboration among different stakeholders within the organization to ensure quality and speed of delivery meets customer expectations or exceeds such expectations
5. Act as a leader and an expert to ensure timely product launch. Ensure that there is a proactive engagement with OEMs and Companies engineers for collaboration during design and engineering phase
6. Responsible for playing a lead role in all the transition phases as per APQP program management process. Involve in all discussions for gate validation required for trnasitioning from one phase to another phase
7. Responsible for putting in place a well defined process related to collaboration, information management and visibility and traceability of deliverables during New Product Development (NPD) programs
8. Manage program status updates and input information using the Project related KPIs. Escalate identified bottlenecks as red flags to senior management for immediate response and resolution. Monitor input of team members hours into time tracking database to ensure accuracy and consistency against bugeted hours
9. Ensure that appropriate technical interface during the product development cycle is established and maintained with the customer including providing support during field failures or other failed components when necessary
10. Responsible to maintain relevant information related to the project including APQP related documentation, program milestones and ECN updates
