We are looking for Electrical/Power Electronics Engineering graduates at BE/BTech or ME/MTech levels. We are looking for candidates those have hands-on when it comes to working with or creating electrical / electronic systems. This includes being familiar with both HW and FW.
As a System DVT Engineer, a successful candidate will be part of the Systems DVT Engineering team that is responsible for defining, integrating, and testing the systems behaviour for Enphase's energy solutions.
In this role the successful candidate will:
Mapping systems requirements to use cases and to test cases
Creating end to end test setups for system validation
Building test automation suites to enable automated test case execution
Understand customer issues and lead the debugging efforts
Understanding and validating electrical grid compliance requirements
Conduct Design verification test (DVT) to assure full coverage of Micro Inverter system design
Troubleshoot the system failures encountered during DVT and analyze root cause for the failures.
Interact with other Enphase groups such as storage, digital systems and technology office to coordinate efforts
Work with development team to aid fixing the failures encountered during system DVT.
Responsible for documentation of test plan and test reports
Qualification and Previous Experience:
E. in Electrical/Electronics engineering with 6+ years- experience outside of university or
Masters in Power Electronics or Power System with 4+years- experience in system design verification test
Desired experience - the following will be an advantage:
Testing Experience in electrical systems like UPS, Inverters, Energy metering, Energy storage, microgrid
Experience in systems validation in other domains like motor control, industrial controllers
Experience in power systems; generation, distribution
Understanding of renewable systems like solar, DER is an added advantage
Hands-on Experience in handling the electrical and electronic lab equipment (MTEs, Grid simulators, power analysers etc).
Controlling test equipment using GPIB, TCP/IP, USB, RS232 and other communication busses
Experience in grid tied inverter validation and advance grid profile functions.
- Ability to develop test scripts in Python or similar languages
