GM NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT and R&D [ELECTRONICS]
Lead product innovation by developing a vision for company growth through new consumer durables products
Utilize consumer insights to conceptualize product design & development; Ensure seamless integration with research, testing etc upto launch
Deep experience in development of microcontroller based PCB including Layout, prototyping & Final Production from Vendors
Oversee application of latest tools for Logic development / Microprocessor; relevant software and skills on firmware & middleware, methodologies for product validation
Possess thorough knowledge of Electronics Design & selection standards for components & manufacturing processes including power component / transformer mounting etc.
Know vendors of EMS, critical electronic & electro mechanical components; Supervise test prototypes to Global standards for international Markets
Oversee complete documentation, development & testing of power supply, power supply circuits, Microcontroller based PCB Assemblies etc.
Project management including mechanical, electrical & electronics engineering product design
Develop completely new products in futuristic trends like IOT, high end HMIs, displays etc relevant to tomorrow's consumer; Have experience in development of products like water & air purifiers, solar energy etc.

Role is mainly overseeing Design & Development
Role is Strategic, Managerial, Technical & Commercial: Managing & Hands on
- Make machine more intelligent, hence judge if vendor has that capability or get new vendor
- R&D has 25 people with 5 managers - all in Bangalore
- 20 member Lab Team do the testing wrt product reliability, check parameters etc and support R&D
