Job Description of Mechanical Manager

Qualification and other requirements :

- B.E / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

- 10 yrs of hands-on experience in Operation & Maintenance of Mechanical equipments.

- Enforce company policies.

- Cultivate long-lasting mutually beneficial partnerships with clients.

- Well versed with statutory requirements safety policies etc

- Cost saving analysis, recommendations & implementation.

- Problem solving ability.

- Conflict Management.

- Comprehend and work towards SLAs of client.

- Good understanding of local governing laws, Policies, statutory req. etc.

- Succession planning.

- Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills.

- People Management.

- Knowledge in MS-Office.

Job Description :

Will be reporting to Facilities Manager and will handle the following : 

1. Should supports the team in analyzing technical issues, provide training in the area of safety, technology, safe work procedures and works towards optimization of maintenance activities to achieve the highest level of reliability of Utility equipment.

2. Proactively analyze potential problems that may arise.

3. Develop and implement strategies that would prepare the maintenance team to respond to emergencies and restore power supply to the system in the shortest possible time reliably and safely

4. Investigate significant electrical equipment & system failures,

5. Identify chronic technical issues and perennial maintenance problems

6. Propose & implement sound technical solutions to minimize plant downtime & faults recurrences.

7. Develop & organize training programs for the maintenance team

8. Develop sustainable system to support electrical maintenance areas with effective implementation, monitoring and control measures.

9. Ability to build & sustain good working relationships and work effectively in a team environment

10. Conducting and initiating non-routine and specialized technical analysis, evaluating results and providing reports thereon

11. Managing complete maintenance of building.

12. Responsible for maintenance of all Mechanical, Fire detection & fighting systems, including equipment maintenance and repairs.

13. Formulates and implements preventative maintenance programs for Mechanical equipments and building maintenance.

14. Operation & Maintenance of Air Compressors, Air Dryers, Cooling Tower, Pumps, Valves, Gear box, Boilers, STP, Cranes Conveyors, Water Treatment Plants, Chillers and Air Handling Units, etc.

15. Different types of Starters, Motors & Pumps (Electric, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic).

16. Testing, Tuning & Setting to work, Running & Breakdown Maintenance, Overhauling.

17. Plan and assign work to Engineers / Technicians.
