Hardware Design Engineer (3-5 yrs)
Position : Engineer-Hardware Design
Qualification : Diploma/B.E Electronics/E&TC
Experience : 3-5 years
We are looking for an agile and proactive candidate with global exposure, who is well versed with Electronic Hardware development in automotive field. Our motive is to have a candidate who is good at design as well as in PCB layout creation. The candidate must have following attributes listed below:
1. Experience : 2-5 Years in hardware design and development
2. Should be of automotive background. Experienced in switch design and development preferred.
3. Should have hands on experience with hardware simulation software like PSpice, Proteus etc.
4. Schematic design tools such as CIS capture or Mentor graphics tools.
5. Must be aware of layout design constraints for EMI and EMC.
6. Worst case analysis of hardware with tools such as MathCAD.
7. Design calculations for component selection.
8. Sound knowledge in LED and driving circuits.
9. Have good knowledge of CAN and LIN physical layer.
10. Must be aware of interfacing circuit in 8, 16, 32 bit microcontrollers.
11. DFMEA
12. EMI and EMC design and testing knowledge.
13. Design verification and validation testing knowhow is required.
14. Must be aware of enterprise software in Creating and executing Engineering Change Request through Cross functional team.
The candidate will be responsible for :
1. All the design and development activities associated with electronics such as finalising the Schematic, its simulation, component selection and validation plan.
2. Create schematics.
3. Drafting Technical proposals and discussion with customers and suppliers.
4. Preparing test plan and executing the same in coordination with the testing team.
5. Carry out DFMEA and worst case analysis of the electronics hardware.
6. Support to associated teams such as Production, Sales and ME.
