Hardware Design Engineer :

Location : Gurgaon

Experience : 5-8 Years

Must-Haves :

- Experience in Automotive Product Development and tools like ORCAD etc.

- Hardware Designer (layout) - mainly responsible for Hardware PCB Layout Development for automotive products. (such as body control module, clusters, displays and telematics)

Main activities/responsibilities :

- Responsible for PCB layout Design and CFT support activities.

- Responsible for creation of Gerber file and need to coordinate for production for PCBA.

- Coordinate with team for new footprint creation and support for component selection.

- Understanding of design guidelines for EMI /EMC, and Thermal consideration.

- Coordination with various functional team to freeze PCB layout design.

- Able to work effectively with Cross function teams to meet defined deadlines and time constraints.

- Experience in microcontroller / SOC -based PCB layout design. (Like Renesas, Cypress, NXP etc.) design for automotive applications including analog and digital HW modules.

- In depth understanding of PCB layout development in Cadence Allegro CAD environment.

- Able to design multi later (6-layer, 8 layer or more) PCB layout designs. GERBER and assembly drawing release, support production for proto development.

- Familiar with various component footprints (QFN, BGA etc..) and design standards for EMI Compatible design.

- Understanding of high-speed design for TFT/ LCD based products.

- Knowledge of various PCB manufacturing technologies, materials, and fabrication along with cost implications.

- Optical components and interface knowledge (LCD, LED, TFT. etc.)

- Design experience on RF components / circuits / antenna design will add advantage.

- Flexible to put-in additional hours if necessary to achieve critical project deadlines.
