Designation: Head of Application Technology (Flexible Packaging)

Reporting to: Business Director

Job Description:

Develop/ recommend ink solutions to customers.

Development of innovative technology applications, services and solutions according to sales teams and customer requirements in line with defined objectives, quality standards and budgets.

Implementation of technology applications, services and solutions in cooperation with Sales teams to respond to customer requirements.

Development, allocation and management of resources to achieve business targets.

To take ink trails at customers and ensure it success.

Make necessary modification in ink formulations so that customers requirements are fulfilled.

Identify new business opportunities for local customers.

Analyse and interpret results and draws conclusion to solve customer issue.

Observation of market and competitors from technology point of view.

Answer technical queries in a structured and comprehensive way (verbal or written) according to defined standards.

Deal with external technical/ market partners and service providers within the area of responsibility and cooperate with technology counterparts within the company group.

Prepare and conduct technical/customer meetings.

Accurate and comprehensive documentation and reporting on to technology portfolio developments and progress in line with defined standards

Negotiate and deal with external technical partners, market partners and service providers within the area of responsibility as well as cooperate with technology counterparts within the Group.

Resolution of technology related customer claims according to his OFC role and the claim procedure.

Structure work packages for own lab technicians, check progress and end products.

Supporting customers on all aspects of FP technology in line with differentiation strategy concept as part of One- Face to- Customer (OFC) or International Account Management (IAM).

Support SCM in ask questions and problems regarding the products of own customer.

Continuous market and competitor analysis from the technology point of view to ensure the development of competitive applications, services and solutions to respond to market and customer needs.

Efficient project management to provide defined technology solutions, applications and services according to agreed time lines, budgets and standards.

Accurate and comprehensive documentation and reporting on technology portfolio developments and progress in line with defined standards.

Coordination and participation in various inter-company projects.

B.Sc./ B.E. / B. Tech (Chemical /Chemistry)

Industry Printing

Must have handled shop floor and printing machines

7 8 years of supervisory experience

Minimum 15 years of experience.

Excellent communication and presentation skills
