- Conceptualise and create a manufacturing facility for ERC Lenses

- Ensure best in quality of ERC Lenses

- Ensure just in time supply of ERC Lenses across all ERC hospitals and camps

Management of Workshops

- Operate one lens customization workshop each across all ERC hospitals

- Ensure competitive turnaround time for more than 90% of the customised lenses

Procurement

- Ensure procurement of best in class IOLs for cataract surgeries

- Ensure 10% price reduction year on year on all optical accessories

- Ensure 10% price reduction year on year on all Pharmaceutical drugs

Just in Time Distribution

- Ensure availability of IOLs, surgical materials, optical accessories and Pharmaceutical drugs across all camps and ERC hospitals

- Ensure just in time distribution for all goods across all ERC hospitals

- Ensure optimum working capital management in inventory management

Process Management

- Create SOPs from manufacturing to supply chain

- Transform from ad hoc management to process driven service delivery

- Create contingency models for smooth business operations keeping local dynamics in context

Ensure Profitability

- Create yearly and monthly operative budgets for all heads above

- Operate all heads within budget ensuring business profitability

Candidate Specifications:

Education Qualification

- Graduate in any stream. Management qualification is preferable.

Experience Profile

- Ten years plus experience in managing operations

- Experience of running a manufacturing setup

- Extensive experience of procurement of raw materials as well as finished goods

- Extensive experience of supply chain

- Currently working in mid to senior management profile

- Experience of working in healthcare is preferable

- We welcome ex Indian armed forces personnel for this role

- Startup experience shall be added advantage
