Head - Construction Operations - Real Estate (19-24 yrs)
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities Of The Role :
- Responsible for the successful completion of all Construction Projects within timelines and cost as per the defined design and quality standards.
- Responsible for the future development of the Companies Execution Strategy to allow for the planned growth the company.
- Experience in Construction Operations, Project Planning & Control, Quality Assurance, Safety Management and Vendor/ Contractor Management.
- Proficiency in directing overall functions for executing construction projects (Civil) involving estimations, initiating, risk governance, human resource mobilization, structured communication, management reporting and reviews till commissioning / handing over within cost & time parameters with quality in adherence to policies / procedures.
- Expertise in managing activities like evaluation/quotation of tenders & competitive bids (technical & commercial) supervising the spectrum of contractual obligations/techno-negotiation matters-pricing strategies & claim settlements for procurement of resources (material, manpower & machineries).
- Liaising with Project Members/Engineers/Clients/Vendors/Suppliers/Architects/ Draughtsman /Sub-contractors/ Third Party Inspection Agencies.
- Someone who is an effective leader with excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
Project Planning & Management:
- Planning project activities and managing construction work like estimating, reviewing designs / drawings, while ensuring compliance to quality assurance.
- Liaising with architects & consultants on determining technical specifications & requirements and commissioning of building plans as per the defined guidelines.
Contract Administration & Management:
- Evaluating & executing contract works and approving contractor's bills and involved in Vendor value worth analysis and selection based on technical and financial competencies.
- Coordinating procurement activities like tendering & bid management, estimations, techno-commercial evaluations and contract negotiations.
Construction Management/Resource Planning:
- Preparing and reviewing of Method Statements and Work Specific Quality Control Plans
- Ensuring machineries/ equipment/materials procurement are in accordance with schedule, quantity & quality.
- B.E. / Post graduate in Civil Engineering / Construction Management
- 15- 20 years of experience in India in construction and real estate development
