Head - Design Structures (18-30 yrs)
We are currently looking for a Head Design - Structures for one of the leading Client in Construction, Designing and Infrastructure Industry.
Designation - Head Design - Structures
Location - Mumbai.
Experience - More than 20 years.
Education - M Tech Structures.
Role:- The Head Design - Structures would be responsible to lead, develop and manage all aspects of our design related to bridges and elevated corridors.
- The structures could be any structural system like PSC Girders / Steel Girders / Box Segmental / Extra dose / cable-stayed / steel spans on Deep or open foundation systems.
- It's a leadership role, with accountability for complete design deliverables meeting the stakeholder's requirement through the team within the organization or taking support from the external consultants.
- He will ensure the design and creative deliverables are aligned to stakeholder expectations and executed within budget and deadlines.
Major Responsibilities:
- Developing the internal design team / external consultants to meet the overall delivery of the design in the EPC projects.
- Preparation and monitoring of master drawing list and design delivery schedule meeting the project requirement.
- Preparation of the schematic/definitive/detailed design, getting the approval from the client or their engineer and issue of GFC drawings for construction in a scheduled time and within the accepted quantities.
- Discussion with the project team and finalising the construction methods in consultation with the internal team.
- Maintaining the quality of design documents and drawings in line with Company Standards and working towards upgrading of the quality.
- Record keeping and maintain the library of work completed.
- Innovation and value engineering on the projects and adding new technology of design and construction in the organisation
