Head - Electrical Maintenance - Chemicals (7-12 yrs)
One of the leading UK based MNC group Johnson Matthey Chemicals India Pvt.Ltd. requires Head Electrical for its plant located at Kanpur in U.P
Job Title : Head Electrical
Reports to : Plant Engineering Head
Business Unit : Head Office
Location : Panki- Kanpur
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities :
- Ensure no breakdowns in processes due to electrical Execute preventive maintenance activities as per plan
- Monitor spare inventory and indent based on stock/requirement
- Attend abnormalities and workout countermeasures for breakdowns (Y-Y analysis)
- Upgrade/Strengthen maintenance practices Breakdown hours/month :
- Ensure electrical obsolescence is timely countered. Update equipment master list
- Give inputs for long term plan to address obsolescence
- Recommend replacement and expenses for the obsolete parts
- Replacement of obsolete parts as per plan No. of obsolete system upgraded per year
- Ensuring safety during maintenance activities Conduct departmental safety committee meeting
- Act on audit observations
- Carry incident analysis (as and when required). No. of safety incidents :
- Ensure compliance of standards (ISO 9000, ISO 14001, 18001) and statutory requirements. Implement activities related to compliance
- Take actions on audit points
- No of non-conformance in audits : (internal, external & statutory)
- Ensure continuous improvements for improved reliability of equipment/controls in production processes Prepare annual plans including BM and DM themes
- Implementation as per plan
- Initiate procurement as per plan
- Validate the results post completion of tasks
- Prepare task/theme completion report
Prepare R&M expenses report- BM/DM theme achievement % :
- BM/DM CP achievement % :

- Ensuring capability development of the team in production processes Prepare/Update skill matrix
- Conduct training as per plan
- Recommend resources for domain training ( need based)
- Upgrade functional training modules /WI/SOPs based on PL-Instt inputs
- Percentage of technicians enhanced to next quadrant of skill
