Recruiting for leading mid-sized design and engineering company specialised in front-end engineering design. We undertake projects involving multi-disciplinary engineering starting from concept to commissioning of the plant. This position shall provide strategic and operational leadership to our engineering team. Strong multi-disciplinary engineering and management skills are essential

for this position.

Responsibilities :

- Drive engineering disciplines in compliance with quality, schedule and budget to meet / exceed project requirements

- Organize engineering disciplines, assign roles and responsibilities to maximize the execution efficiency of the disciplines

- Coordinate with projects dept to understand & meet client requirements

- Enhancement of systems, processes, and standards to maximise efficiency of the engineering team

- Lead functions like performance appraisals, resource allocation, mhr control, etc.

- Manage intra-disciplinary coordination (IDC) activities

- Participate in client meetings including project kick-off / review / closeout meetings

- Participate in Vendor interactions as required for document approval, and coordination meetings

- Train and mentor discipline HODs and Leads. Understand & coordinate fulfilment of training needs of the disciplines.

- Manage HOD / Lead level recruitment activities

- Support management of client relationships and client satisfaction

- Support business development activities

Key Accountabilities :

- Delivery of engineering services to meet project schedules and budgets while

ensuring client satisfaction and fulfilling management expectations

- Enhancement of engineering standards and processes

- Development of the engineering disciplines

Requirements Qualifications &Experience :

- Graduate or Post-Graduate Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering

- 20+ years- work experience in the Engineering Industry including 10+ years in engineering management

Key Skills :

- Multi-disciplinary engineering / engineering management experience

- Establishing systems and processes to efficiently manage engineering team

- Excellent communication skills in verbal & written English

- Good people skills, interpersonal relationship management
