We are looking Head Formulation & Development for one of our leading Pharmaceutical Client

Location : Boisar (Plant Location)

Year of Experience : 5 - 10 Yrs

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Developing and implementing product research pipeline plans, product quality as per defined specification before release to the usage by customers.

- Perform internal and external Quality audits; manage client liaison and supplier quality performance and coordinate completion of activities related to quality systems.

- Develop new technologies, processes and product formulations for solid and liquid dosage form of pharmaceuticals. 

- Projects range might be from new product development, current product improvement, and ingredient evaluation.

- Develop/optimise the process steps of the plant and assist in evaluating new equipment.

- Responsible for creating, evaluation, and formatting the product image to commercialization. Hands-on experience in using design of experiments when developing new formulations.

- Provide support in validating processes, procedures and formulations consistent with GMP requirements. Working knowledge of core processes: development, and manufacturing.

- Write, generate and review protocols, development reports, manufacturing and testing plans, product development report (PDR), Master formula record (MFR) and master batch records (MBR).

- Sourcing, developing and work with outside laboratories and manufacturing facilities to identify and support innovative products and delivery methods.

- Formulate and modify existing formulas to meet regulatory guidelines, cost parameters and claims. Relevant experience in drug development for ANDA, OTC, CMC portion of the filing, Medical devices and ophthalmic products.
