Position : Head (GM / DGM) - Vendor Development

Reporting to : Head (VP) - R&D

Candidates with Minimum of 20 years in Vendor Development & Tooling experience in White Goods, Mixer, Blender, Wet Grinder, Gas stove, Water Dispenser specific to aesthetic plastics, Rubber, sheet metal ONLY WILL BE CONSIDERED. Candidates from HOME APPLIANCES Industry ony apply.

Key Purpose of the Job :

- Leading the Vendor Development activities of the Home appliances division.

- Identify new supplier base both domestic and overseas for all types of parts pertaining to small appliances, plastic, electrical etc.

- Drive quality, process & system improvement and maintenance across supplier base. Ensure timely & flawless new product development to meet quality & delivery expectation on current and new product launch.

- Additionally generate VA/VE opportunities using lean methods to remove waste in supply chain.

Educational Qualification / Experience required :

- B.E /B.Tech

- Experience of minimum 20 years.

- Should have handled all types of small appliances parts like plastic, electrical etc.

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for timely identification, negotiation, procurement and on time feed of production and non-production materials to all the internal customers.

- Ensure identification and finalization of alternate vendor base source post selection of main vendor both in domestic and overseas.

- Coordinate evaluation of suppliers for quality, pricing and delivery timeliness.
