Head - Landscape Design (14-20 yrs)
Job Description :
- Develop strategic plan for Airside and Land side landscape development and subsequent maintenance, build a team for landscape development and maintenance works, plan for Landscape development works in conjunction with selected Landscape Architect, develop BOQ and tender documents for tendering of landscape works, technically evaluate bidding contractors, have world class and ecologically sound landscape and green belt development works executed through competent contractors on the basis of developed designs, seamless transition from Developmental to maintenance stage.

Strategic Planning : Develop a strategic plan for landscape development works on the basis of prepared Airport Masterplan on the airside, Land side and Terminal Building so as to conform to statutory norms Timelines

- Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements
- Satisfy stakeholders requirements
- Team development : Develop a competitive, energetic and professional team of landscape professionals with relevant expertise and experience who can manage the landscape works of the Airport to international standards Quality of resources
- Design Development works : Select professional and reputed landscape designers who can develop landscape as per the design philosophy of the Airport Masterplan, have landscape design developed which is visually pleasing, takes ecological factor into account and is easy to execute; Coordinate with consultants and stakeholders for the necessary design inputs. - Development of Tender Documents: Develop a comprehensive Bill of Quantities for works with correct specifications, help procurement team prepare correct and comprehensive tender documents for landscape and Irrigation system development works Quality

- Selection of contractors: Comprehensive technical evaluation of bid documents, help procurement team in financial negotiations so as to select competent and professional landscape contractors with good financial and technical background. Quality

- Development of Landscape :
- Have a good quality landscape developed complete with soft scape and hard scape elements, Automated Irrigation system through qualitative checks, monitoring works/reports as per the work schedule;
- Coordinate with the contractor's team of Engineers / supervisors and collectively work out action plan to catch up with the occasional / frequent delay of work progress.
- Take feedback from Architect regarding conceptualized and actual works. Timelines

- Certify contractor's monthly RA Bills as per the works executed. Work Schedule

- Transition from Development to AMC Phase: Seamless transition from Developmental phase to maintenance phase through timely identification and selection of qualified AMC contractors through comprehensive tender document preparation and having SLA based contracts Seamless transition

- Maintenance of developed Landscape : Maintain the developed landscape through appointment of good contractors, strict monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Take stakeholders requirements during AMC works SLA specifications

- Should have work experience in project management / execution of landscape projects with a minimum project value of 8 to 10 cr
- To understand and implement complex landscape working drawings including hardscape.
- To handle a team of 5 plus.
- To handle small projects parallelly.
- Sound leadership skills with emphasis on project management, team building, communication skills.
Candidate Specification :
- Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Landscape
- Preferably M.Sc. in Agriculture/Horticulture/Landscape
- 15 to 18+ total years of experience with at least 10 years of work experience in leading the landscape development/ maintenance works in large Infrastructure projects like Airport/Hotel/Commercial buildings
