Head - Maintenance - Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (18-28 yrs)

Client: One of the market leaders in Power/Metal/Mining industry

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical Engineer or relevant engineering degree

Role Summary Key role in Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance, Monitoring of Maintenance strategy, Maintenance planning & execution, HEMM availability in accordance with AOP Plans

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial:

- Spare Parts Management as per AOP.

- Contract Management, vendor performance and claim lodge on vendors for contractual commitments.

- Optimization of cost parameters including Spare Parts utilization.

- Indigenization of Spare Parts / Vendor development to ensure cost reduction without compromising quality of product.

- Prepare annual budget for equipment's Maintenance.

2. Operational

- Effective optimization of maintenance practices.

- Implementation & Monitoring of Maintenance strategy including KPIs.

- Benchmarking of processes / Best PM / Repair Time and thereby reducing the turnaround time, maximizing equipment uptime.

- Condition Based Monitoring and optimization of component life.

- Ensure 85% availability of equipment.

- Failure Root Cause Analysis and maintaining easily retrievable database.

- Technical consultancy for Insurance claims.

- Technical evaluation for procurement.

- Asset Management.

- Statutory compliance including DGMS.

- SAP PM Module implementation.

- Co-ordination with operation, procurement & other departments.

- Ensure to maintain 100% documentation for audit.

- Implementing Best Safety Practices in Maintenance.

3. Customer

- Ensuring maximum uptime for equipments / increased availability for production.

- Interfacing with Mines Manager and other concern departments.

4. People

- Man Management.

- Knowledge Management including training from OEM.

- Skill Gap analysis.

- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and zero accidents.

- Employee engagement.
