Head - Operations - Automobile (15-20 yrs)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall Plant functions viz. Production, Mfg. Engineering, Plant Maintenance, Purchase, Quality and Support functions (Finance, HR/IR, Admin ).
- To Coordinate with Project Management team to execute Plant Project - Key elements & delivers.
- Responsible for key customer interaction.
- Develop standardized processes for various functions in the plant, through concerned functional heads.
- Robust review mechanism through Accountability meeting & MIS.
- Act as Factory Manager for PNR, Strategic Business Unit (SBU)
- Regular Customer Interaction and travelling as per business requirements.
- New Product Production & ensuring proactive communication with customers.
- All local actions to sustain & increase Share of Business.
- On-time / in Budget SOP of New Plant (including Statutory clearances) with all infrastructure in place to meet Safety, Quality, Productivity, Environmental compliance Metrics
- Obtain necessary Quality, Safety & Environment Management System Certifications for the location
- Trained Team to take on new projects or lateral line responsibilities
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Engineering Graduate with 15 plus years with strong experience in Manufacturing Operations from an automobile industry.
- Strong Exposure to World Class Manufacturing Systems like Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, TQM & Kanban.
