Head - Operations - FMCG (10-15 yrs)
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
A) PLANNING:
- Budgeting on the yearly basis for the manufacturing activities supporting the sales targets.
- Budgeting Manpower in line with the Sales targets.
- Drawing the Material plan for the RM, Out Sourced Material & Capital goods.
- Working specific plan for certification and Export requirements
- Project Planning for new development.
B) OPERATIONS:
- Monitoring and controlling the manufacturing operations at all India level.
- Ensuring the Production targets are met in line with Indents.
- Adherence to the Quality norms and Quality control on the products.
- Adherence to the Compliances and Rules for Food Safety, ISO, FSSC norms.
- Resource management through the functional heads.
- Technical adherence of outsourced products in line with our standard of quality and durability.
C) QUALITY CONTROL
- Overall control on the Quality processes and certifications for the manufacturing units.
- Regular Audits, Internal and external and monitoring the upkeep of the Quality.
- Quality processes and Audits for Exports.
- Label working and adhering to the dynamic norms, domestic and International regulations.
- Consumer Complaints management for all the products.
D) RESEARCH AND NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
- Continuous Review of alternative material for existing line of products to enhance the quality and cost optimization.
- New Product- Ideation, Pilot, trails and based on approval, Launch commercial production.
- Continuous review of the Packaging Material for enhancing life of product and cost optimization.
- Review of competition products and do the necessary understanding for our product line.
Span of Control
- All India Operations.
- Responsible for Supporting the current sales Targets.
- People responsibilities direct and Indirect 200+ & Indirect more than 400 Off roll.
E) PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:
a. Leading, mentoring, training & monitoring the performance of team of managers from all operations department to achieve functional KRAs
b. Create/sustain a collaborative & performance oriented environment while providing development opportunities to members.
