Head - Operations & Services - Industrial Products/Manufacturing (15-25 yrs)
Job Description :
- Manage various sites and get reports from Site Managers and Installation Managers. Motivate and manage the Service Installation Team, trouble-shoot and ensure that all sites progress as per schedule and commitment.
- Responsible for the Division and multiple Projects and Sites in excess of 30 Million Euros or Rupees 200 Crores to be implemented on an annual basis.
- Responsible for all technical services, trouble shooting, overhauls and after-commissioning calls and upkeep of the equipment over the life of the equipment.
- Build and develop excellent Customer relations at the ground level as well as the ability to interact and position the Company's interests with the Clients Headquarters.
- Participate actively to develop a strategic plan to achieve the Company's vision, mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth.
Qualifications :
- An Engineering degree is a must. Management degree will be an added advantage. Exposure to setting up and executing projects and managing a team of minimum 25 people. Should take end to end responsibility for site implementation including quality and safety aspects.
- High level of experience in handling all site activities including, site Installation, implementation and commissioning. Should have spent considerable time at various project sites and should have a thorough understanding of site execution processes and site implementation strategies.
- The person to have the ability to handle a team of service engineers, (automation, mechanical and electrical) and guide the service division in trouble-shooting and normal upkeep and maintenance of engineering and packaging equipment.
- Familiar with Indian / International codes and standards
- Exposure to Purchase/Procurement and Material Management function activity is desired as this will be a significant share of the operations.
- The Company is desirous of starting Assembly Workshop, hence, should be in a position to understand, appreciate and guide the Assembly activity in terms of setting up as well as Running the Assembly Operations.
- Strong Business and Commercial Skills to ensure a tight operational control over the site budgets and Assembly Operations in future. And a comprehensive understanding of technical engineering fundamentals.
- Should have the ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment. The Candidate should be a Leader and exhibit the qualities to grow the Operations to the next level in sync with the Market.
- Should be a highly motivated, self-driven person possessing a minimum of 20 to 25 years experience
- Good communication and inter-personal skills are absolutely essential and important.
Other Requirements :
- Travel will be an integral part of this position and the person should enjoy travelling and meeting people.
- Must be able to perform varied work assignments in a fast growing environment and from extremely demanding Customers / Market and ability to take quick and speedy decisions.
- Should exhibit elevated levels of enthusiasm and drive. Should have an entrepreneurial spirit and bring a high degree of energy to the job.
- Significant levels of MS-Office skills and familiarity with computers. Exposure to various analytical tools and working in an ERP environment preferably SAP.
- Ability to collaborate and co-operate with multi-departmental team cross border. Intercultural exposure to having worked with European organisations and international experience would be preferred.
