We are a leading agrochemicals company, dedicated to providing innovative solutions for crop protection and soil health. We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead our manufacturing unit and drive excellence in production, quality, and safety.


Qualifications:


Education:


- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Management, or a related field.


- An advanced degree (MBA or MTech) is a plus.


Experience:


- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing operations within the agrochemicals or a related industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.


Skills:


- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory requirements in the agrochemicals industry.


- Proven leadership and team management abilities.


- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


- Proficiency in manufacturing software and systems.


Job Summary:


- We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Operations to oversee and optimize the operations of our manufacturing unit in Coastal belt.


- The ideal candidate will have a robust background in manufacturing management within the agrochemicals industry, with a proven track record of improving operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, and leading a high-performing team.


Key Responsibilities:


- Lead and manage the manufacturing unit, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and compliance with regulatory standards.


- Develop and implement operational strategies, goals, and objectives, aligning with company vision and mission.


- Oversee production planning, scheduling, and inventory management to meet customer demands.


- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.).


- Manage and optimize resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.


- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee development.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain.


- Analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.


- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
