What are we looking for : Head - PAT (Testing, Validation & Quality)

- Hands-On experience in Testing & Validation of Low Tension (LT) & High Tension (HT) Energy Meters (1ph & 3ph Prepaid Meters, Bi-directional Net Meters, Trivector Meters) on related Test & Measurement/Test & Calibration Equipments as Per IS Standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage the overall delivery and executions of the tests in our in-house test Lab and Remote Test Laboratories.

- Preparing QAP : Defining the scope of testing within the context of each release / delivery to ensure maximum quality of releases, Firmware upgrades, etc.,

- Deploying and managing resources for testing

- Applying the appropriate test measurements and metrics in the product and the Testing Team

- Planning, deploying and managing the testing effort for any given engagement

- Transition and management of the system changes and enhancements (current status and future developments) promoted from the ISS/IEC/ISO to End to End Test services: customers and internal members

- Supporting other areas of the Testing Team to ensure high quality of customer testing in support of testing plans, removing blockers and expediting fixes and changes, following it through with relevant internal and external stakeholders to guarantee integration between Testing and Operations

- Support the company activities to ensure we are delivering high quality service to customers and parties of our ecosystem, including acting as the point of escalation to get to the resolution of issues that arise during customers- testing

- Collaborate with other teams in providing clear guidance to users (current and potential) on the current functions of the product solution as well as new functions coming from new releases, change requests, etc.

- Coordinate the activities of the service providers delivering the End to End service including:

- Expediting the resolution of high severity testing issues; and

- Driving timely/quality delivery

Education : BE/ B.Tech (Electrical /Mechanical)

Experience :

- Knowledge on IS & IEC standards (as below) is a Must.

- IS13779 & IS14697 latest amendments, IS15884 & IS15959 Part 1&2.

- CBIP-304, 88

- IEC1107 / IEC62056-21

- Knowledge of :

- Meter Simulation Tool as per below standards will be an added advantage.

- IEC62052-11, IEC62053-21 & 22

- IEC62056-61&62 (DLMS - COSEM /Blue book)

- IEC62056-53&46 (DLMS - Green book)

- Working knowledge on Master Test Plan for Smart Meters as per BIS & Client's GTP.

- Metrology testing as per IS13779, Communication testing as per IS 16444,15959 & 15884,

- Type test, Routine test & Acceptance test

- Calibration

- Pre-payment meter testing

- Report Generation

- Specification Analysis etc-

- Knowledge in setting up of NABL accredited lab and STI 13779:1999 (Scheme of Testing & Inspection) compliance lab for Bureau of Indian standard Inspection for product certification and BIS Licence renewals.

- Must have worked with NABL Accredited labs in India for DA testing & Type Testing of Energy Meter.
