Job Title : Head - PET Preforms

Job Purpose : To lead the overall manufacturing of Preforms division as per standards and process

Job Responsibility :

1. Overall Management of PET Preform functions of the organization.

2. Ensure plant performance by evolving, introducing and maintaining operational systems and processes which are best suited to the business.

3. Define, develop, implement and ensure adherence of standard operating procedures

4. Working with supply chain and logistics experts to create and implement policies for effective management of materials

5. Ensuring the monitoring and control of QA process and standards for preforms

6. Ensuring efficiency in cost management, and conducting cost reduction programs where needed.

7. Measuring and reporting on cost management performance regularly, analyzing variances and prescribing corrective action as needed.

8. Ensure profitability of Preform division and supervise all the aspects. To create a strategic vision to achieve the desired volumes and profits.

9. Technical co-ordination with the plant, suppliers and machinery manufactures; to ensure plant performance for preforms

10. To Review and give suggestions on plant operating parameters for performs and new developments

11. To Design and development of new performs as per the requirement of products, packaging and machines

12. To Design and co-ordination with mould manufacturers

13. To Co-ordinate with suppliers on new developments in raw material, machinery and testing equipments

14. Innovation of new ideas for improving the plant output and quality improvements

15. New developments in bottles and processes on product to product basis

16. To Co-ordinate with internal perform manufacturing plants for production planning and material procurement

Knowledge :

1. Knowledge of manufacturing and quality process of Preforms (Resin to Preform)

2. Knowledge of Injection Molding Machines, Blowing Machines, Utilities, Dryer

3. Knowledge of Hot runner Maintenance

4. Understanding of blowing and filling process in beverage industry

Qualifications :

1. B.Tech/Diploma in Plastic Technology/any equivalent in Plastics from CIPET

2. BE Mechanical/Electrical
