Head - Planning - Architecture & Design Startup (5-10 yrs)

As the Head of Planning, you will be responsible to oversee the design team for technical application design, planning and porotypes of Innovative shelter and infrastructural development, risk and impact assessment and Planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining architectural standards for the design and deployment of organizational solutions
- Collaborating with other team members to provide technical direction on systems analysis, design, development, and deployment
- Ensuring timely and effective delivery of the design
- Facilitating structure reviews, design sessions and architectural reviews
- Participating in technical advisory roles, as required
- Interacting with customers at the technical level, as required
- Ensuring effective handoff to operations for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting
- Overseeing an increased level of code reuse and contributing to the growth and use of the knowledge library
- Mentoring associates and fostering a learning and growth environment
- Working closely with the members of both Training and Design teams
- Assessing risks and Identifying mitigation methods
- Designing, planning and implementation of training programs
Candidate Profile:
- B Plan/MPlan/M Arch preferred
- Demonstrable experience of 5-10 years with project management experience on a range of architecture and design planning projects
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
- Basic technical understanding of architectural design, and interior design
- Ability to design transformational plans with a logical sequencing
- Demonstrated successful ability to work collaboratively with various departments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to meet stated customer-initiated deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
