Position Title : Head - Plant Operations

Reporting Manager : Sr Vice President 

PURPOSE :

To ensure operations of the plant through on-time deliveries as per specification through HSE initiatives & compliances, manage resource with minimal wastages, ensure associate morale through several initiatives and environment management

Within : Trade & Commercial policies& Manufacturing Practices of the organization and Statutory Compliance

ACCOUNTABILITY :

- Plan and direct the factory site to achieve quality and timeliness of manufacturing output consistent with business objectives.

- To ensure day-to-day operations within the plant through on time deliveries as per specifications;

- To maintain safety, health within the plant; 

- To control environment hazards within and outside the plant;

- To ensure resource utilization through minimal wastages; 

- To drive IMS procedures & statutory compliance within the plant;

- To keep up the associate morale through initiatives for people development & continuous improvement and maintain cordial relations with government bodies and local communities

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Minimum Qualification : B. Tech chemical Engg

Minimum Experience : 25 Years
 
Preferred Qualification : M. Tech Chemical & MBA

Preferred Experience : 20 years with M Tech & MBA

Profile :

- He should have worked in Chemical industry in a senior position and handled all activities relevant to chemical manufacturing Industry.

- Experience in multiproduct chemical Industry is required such as Bulk Chemical API or Fine Chemical industries; Agro chemical Industry is preferable.

- Should have handled manufacturing operations independently at site ensuring the most economical. And should be well versed with modern manufacturing technics/ practices;

- Should be able to drive quality systems like ISO 9001: 2015, 14001: 2015, OSHAS 18001: 2007 and other international accreditations.

- Should be a good communicator in English and Telugu language is preferable since the manufacturing site is located in Andhra Pradesh.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- To deliver products as per specifications & timelines

- To comply with all statutory requirements and company safety policies

- To make sure Safety, Health & minimal Environmental hazards within & around the plant,initiate work practices which result in a safe and healthy workplace

- To ensure asset utilization through periodic maintenance of equipment & trouble shooting

- To drive resource utilization/optimization (Raw materials, packing materials, finished goods, people, assets, time) through minimal wastages

- To drive IMS procedures within the plant

- To direct & guide all functions for day-to-day operations

- To do environment management through cordial relations with all statutory & government bodies, and local communities

- To keep up the people morale within the plant through various initiatives for continuous improvement

- To work for people development within the plant; Foster a harmonious working environment and ensure that conditions conform to required standards; Train employees to enable them to move to higher skilled positions.
