JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title Head
Grade / Level M-4
Division / Department Commercial (Spares Procurement & Stores)
Location Lanjigarh
1. JOB PURPOSE
(Briefly describe the general purpose of the position or its significance from the organization's point of view and how it contributes to the overall mission/objective of the organization).
- The job involves guiding people in procurement of different spares, maintaining the stock of spares, monitoring different areas in stores like scrap disposal, controlling inventory, physical verification of materials and ensuring excise duty credit.
- The incumbent will be responsible for the procurement of spares, consumables & sustaining capex for the entire business.
- The role-holder will be responsible for the total spend base of Rs. 200 Crores.
- Create and implement best practices purchasing strategy, policies and processed to improve business performance & cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance to company guidelines, purchasing policies and procedures during negotiations and order award process.
- Timely response and resolution of internal and external audit issues related to procurement & contracts and escalating it to Manager on need basis
- Forecasting price & market trends to attain competitive advantage in the supplier market.
- Establish long-term associations with best-in-class vendors\suppliers\aggregators for USE and pay model.
- Versed in SAP ARIBA, HANA, and Auction methodology.
- Evaluation of vendors to measure & improve vendor performance and compliance.
- Stringent compliance to group guidelines, governance, and evaluation of safety & sustainability criteria.
- Benchmarking, Market intelligence, Supplier Relations, Evaluation & Development.
- Proficient in Complete stores management process i.e. issue, receiving, physical verification, audit,5S, AUTO GEN, scrap yard management and strong compliance as per SOP.
- Competent in Scrap sales management including the E-Waste, Hazardous and normal sales with annual targets and compliance.
- Incumbent should have Leadership role and strong TEAM management.

- Monitoring spares procurement
- Monitoring and guiding subordinates in the procurement of different spares according to the quality and quantity specifications.
- Monitoring people in services procurement.
- Monitoring the inventory of spares
- Monitoring the inventory of spare parts for various departments as per the requirements. Scrap sale and maximizing scrap realization.
- Physical verification of materials ensuring excise duty credits.
- Quality management Ensuring the quality of spares procured in different departments.
4. MAJOR CHALLENGES

Educational Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for dynamic leaders with strong Business Acumen & Negotiation skills.
Experience: 10-12+ yrs of relevant experience
Qualification: B.E/B. Tech, MBA would be preferred
